Alrighty, today I'm gonna share some knowledge for all you fellow Lucas mains out there, or people looking to pick him up.
Lucas is floaty, especially after his second jump, I find. He's middleweight.
Very punish-based. Has trouble approaching (he's a shy boi). Has many followups,
mainly after d-throw.
You can play him however you want, but I find it best to be semi-defensive. Try to keep your opponent away with PK Fire and
z-air, and punish when they get too close. Preferably with a grab.
You want to look for an opportunity to grab. You need to be careful with your grabs, however. Lucas' grab is probably
the shortest and easiest to punish tether-grab in the game. Once you do get a grab, d-throw is for combos/followups,
the rest are kill throws.
Follow up d-throw with pretty much whichever aerial you want. Easiest is n-air, and it can chain into itself for some
good damage. D-throw to d-air is a good mixup. D-throw can set up u-air to kill (true combo, bro), but you have to read your
opponent's DI. Experiment with d-throw during training or sparring sessions to see what works.
Jab is fast and deals 8% of damage if you get all 3 hits. F-tilt is mainly used as a "get off me" sort of attack.
U-tilt can combo out of n-air and d-throw at early percents and is good to pop your opponent up with. D-tilt puts
